This is a cell-penetrating peptide (CPP) that is derived from the human immunoglobulin heavy chain sequence. It can permeate cell membrane at low micromolar concentration without significantly affecting cell membrane. CPP can be conjugated with large molecules and used as a drug delivery vehicle.
