Abarelix

Abarelix is a synthetic decapeptide antagonist to gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH). For men, the inhibition of LH secretion prevents the release of testosterone. Therefore, it can relieve symptoms associated with prostate hypertrophy or prostate cancer.
