CAT# | X19315 |
Sequence | RIKIGLFDQLSKL |
Functions | Inhibits sodium channels inactivation. May slow or block conformational changes required for fast inactivation of the sodium channels on the extracellular surface. Causes presynaptic repetitive firings, which results in summation of postsynaptic potentials. Greatly facilitates both excitatory and inhibitory inactivation. Is 5-fold less potent than beta-PMTX for inducing repetitive action potentials. |
